How our ties are sized
A necktie is sized by two measurements: its width at the widest point of the blade, and its length from tip to tip. Every tie we sell states both on its own product page.
The table below lists every size in our catalogue. The width and length shown are the ones the tie itself is labelled with — we have not converted or rounded them.
Sizes we sell
| Size, as shown on the product page | Width | Length |
|---|---|---|
| Narrow (2 3/4 width) and Short (54" length) | 2 3/4 | 54" |
| Regular (3 1/8th width) and Regular (58" length) | 3 1/8th | 58" |
| Regular (3 1/8th width) and Long (62" length) | 3 1/8th | 62" |
| Classic (3 1/2 width) and Long (62" length) | 3 1/2 | 62" |
| Classic (3 1/2 width) and Extra Long (66" length) | 3 1/2 | 66" |
| Short - 2 1/4 x 54 inches | 2 1/4 | 54 inches |
| Regular - 2 1/4 x 57 inches | 2 1/4 | 57 inches |
| Long - 2 1/2 x 61 inches | 2 1/2 | 61 inches |
Two labelling conventions appear above because our ties come from more than one range. Match the size name on the product page you are buying from — a “Regular” in one range is not the same width as a “Regular” in the other.
How to measure
To compare against a tie you already own: lay it flat and unfolded, measure the blade across its widest point for the width, and measure from tip to tip along the centre for the length.
This is a general guide based on standard industry sizing. Fit varies by style — see each product page for details.
