How to choose
Length. A tied tie should end at your belt line. Under 5'10" with a standard knot, Short or Regular lengths usually land right. Between 5'10" and 6'2", Regular to Long. Over 6'2", or if you favor a large knot such as a full Windsor, choose Long or Extra Long.
Width. Match the tie to the lapel: Narrow suits slim, modern tailoring; Regular is the safe middle for most suits; Classic pairs with traditional and broader-shouldered tailoring.
