Lockwood Dark Green Foulard Tie

Depth of color is the Lockwood's whole argument: a field of blue and white florets woven against a gorgeous dark green ground. From a distance it is simply a rich green; up close, a garden in miniature.

The cloth is a six-ply silk woven in Italy, which gives the green its weight and the florets their slight relief — this is a woven foulard, not a printed one, and the texture shows it. Each tie is handmade in New York City.
